Pinewood Derby

The 2026 Pack 135 Pinewood Derby will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the 

Church of St. Andrews the Apostle Episcopal church located at 331 Orchard St., Rocky Hill, CT

Cub Scout races will be held in three groups:

Group A - Lions, Tigers and Wolves

Group B - Bears, Webelos and AOLs

Group C - Top three finishers from Groups A and B

Additional Races:

Open Race - for anyone to enter, adults and businesses included

Girls Scouts of Rocky Hill

Race Schedule

Girl Scouts start at 9:00 AM

Cub Scouts arrive at 10:15 AM

Open Races begin registration at 12:30 PM

Brownie Rank - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies

Juniors/Cadettes - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies

*Grand Prix (top finishers from each rank) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies

Cub Scouts

*Den Awards - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place medalions.

Group Awards (A & B) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies.

Finals (top finishers from Groups A & B) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies.

*Best In show (Pack Vote on best designed derby car).

PWD Pocket Tag, awarded to all Cub Scouts who participate.

*Slowest Challenge - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies

Fastest - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trohies
