Summer Recruitment Event

• Purpose: Come help recruit new Scouts by showing them our fun and unique skills and games

• Day: Saturday, July 6, 2024

• Time: 10am-12pm event, 12-1pm cleanup

• Location: Elm Ridge Park Pavilion (next to playground) - 376 Elm St (Rt 160), Rocky Hill, CT 06067

• Actions:

  • Parents: Help spread the word. Tell everyone about our recruiting event and the website for more info: pack135.org

  • Parents: RSVP not required but appreciated to estimate supply need: Yes | No | Maybe

  • Scouts: Introduce yourself to potential new Scouts: "Hi, I'm ______. What's your name?"

  • Scouts: Wear Class A Scout Uniform neatly

• Scout Law Elements: Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Cheerful

• Activities

  • New family sign-in

  • Recruitment Pitch to new families

  • Scout activities (ropes & knots, rain gutter regatta, tree & plant identification, games)
